Lauren cancelled her appearance at Texas Frightmare Weekend !

Sadly, Lauren had to cancel her appearance at Texas Frightmare Weekend :(

So, the ups and downs with The Walking Dead guests are kind of disappointing.Lauren Cohan has cancelled her appearance at TFW 2013 due to professional commitments. I know there will be those that are disappointed. We were simply crushed to get this news. It definitely comes with the territory for conventions. But, it doesn’t make the blow any less painful.

Texas Frightmare Weekend

Apparently Lauren will be at another fan-event in May, in Texas!

The event is called "Texas Frightmade Weekend" and it will take place in Dallas, Texas from 3rd to 5th May 2013 - but Lauren will only be there on Saturday (4th May).

Lauren Cohan is the fans-favourite to play in the new "Lara Croft"

I know this might not mean anything to the producers, but I'm still excited!! I've always wanted for Lauren to play 2 of my "dream-characters": Lara Croft & Blood Rayne ! Seeing that other people see Lauren as Lara makes me really happy!

Bad News: Lauren won't attend the PaleyFest + Sidney Con Cancelled

Unfortunately, Lauren cancelled her appearance at tonight's PaleyFest because she was already filming for "Law & Order: SVU" in New York, and she couldn't get back to LA soon enough. Though we have to see the good part of the story: she's filming for L & O and we all can't wait to see her as Avery right?

In other news: The "Shock Horror: Dead Downunder" convention in Sidney, Australia was CANCELLED.
Too bad ... I always wanted to see Lauren in Australia (if you remember, I actually said once that Australia is my fave place). Apparently one of the organizers quit his work for Culture Shock Events and that made them cancel the whole event! Kinda weird if you ask me, but hey ... it's their decision and we have to respect is whether we like it or not.


Anyways I'm sure Lauren will be invited to more events & cons so we have nothing to worry about :)

And guess what?! Lauren is in this top too ... she's on the 57th place :) The thing with these tops is that, they're rather based on how known the women are, and not so much on how hot they are .... you know? I mean if Lauren was as known as ... I don't know ... Lady GaGa she would definitely be "hotter" in their top! Whatever ... what matters is that she's in it anyway :)

I still can't get over the fact that Lauren REALLY wore a dress by a Romanian designer. It's too much! I mean she coud choose from hundreds of designers, and she chose LorenaS ... it's an AMAZING feeling!

DD: One of the first photos we had seen from season 3 showed you about to drive a machete right into a zombie's head. It seems like your character is getting a lot more physical. There is a lot of fighting going on in the prison. Have you been enjoying it and will we see a more physical Maggie for the rest of the season?

LaurenC: Yeah, I loved Maggie the minute I first started and now I really found Maggie. This really physical side of it has been so fullfilling. You're on the farm and surrounded by zombies at the end (of season 2). You feel sourounded and victimized. In season 3, it was amazing to say "enough" and become kind of crazed. You scream and hack into things, and it's really fun.

Yessssssssssss.... Lauren will go to Australia. This (for some -unknown- reason) used to be my favorite country :)

Also because of the late filming on Friday Lauren Cohen’s agent has cancelled her appearance. I tried to bring Lauren in for Saturday and Sunday but her agent said she can’t do it.  Sorry to disappoint anyone.”
